The Double Ninth Festival, also named Chong Yang Festival, falls on the ninth day of the ninth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. It has long become a special day for people to pay their respects to the elderly and a day for the elderly to have a good time. On this occasion, Shanghai company of China Overseas Property has specially arranged the young members of the company to visit some 70 elderly people in an elderly centre on 28 October 2006. They chatted and singed together, filling everywhere with happiness and laughter.
