On 7th January 2007, 300 staff member of China Overseas Holdings Limited teamed up to take part in the biggest charity walk in Hong Kong—the 2007 Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk for Millions. The Walk demonstrates the company’s care and contribution to the development of community by making charitable donations to the needy organizations.

The kick-off ceremony was officiated by Mr. Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of the HKSAR government. Under the cold weather, staff members who dressed in eye-catching wind breaker were led by Mr. Kong Qingping, China Overseas Group’s vice chairman and president, in the Walk.

The route started from Hong Kong Stadium and finished at Aberdeen Country Park Visitors Centre. This meaningful activity not only raises funds for the needy but also provides an opportunity for our colleagues to get together for some healthy body exercise.
