Mr Kong Qingping, Chairman of China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd received the trophy of “China Company Award” of “DHL/ SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards 2010” at the award presentation ceremony on 2 December 2010.

(3 December 2010) China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd (“COLI” or the “Company”, stock code: 00688) is pleased to announce that it garnered “China Company Award” of “DHL/SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards 2010” which recognized the Company’s excellence in market development, business performance, commercial success, corporate governance and organization structure, as well as its outstanding contribution to the society and in enhancing Hong Kong’s and China’s position in the international business community.

Over the years, COLI continues to boost shareholder value, customer value, employee value and social value innovatively. The company was established in Hong Kong in 1979 and now both the total assets and total market value of the Company exceeded HK$100 billion. The annual “Hong Kong Business Awards” were established by DHL and the South China Morning Post in 1990 to acknowledge the vital contributions made by individuals and companies in maintaining and expanding the economic viability and international stature of Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta, as well as to encourage and sustain the region’s entrepreneurial spirit and highlight and recognize excellent standards of corporate management and governance. The “China Company Award” category was first launched in 2009, in particular to recognize Chinese enterprise listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
