(Hong Kong, 14 December 2017) China Overseas Land and Investment Limited (the “Company”, or “COLI”; Stock Code: 0688.HK) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the “Platinum Award” – the highest level of recognition from The Asset, one of Asia’s most influential financial magazines, on its outstanding achievements in Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance.
Companies are assessed on their credit ratings, voting rights, risk management, corporate culture, environmental responsibility and investor relations. COLI has made progress on all fronts during the year thus is promoted from Gold Award in 2016 to Platinum this year, among a host of listed companies across the Asia Pacific region and is the only mainland property developer awarded in the Platinum category.
Other international awards and assessment COLI participated during the year included being included in Down Jones Sustainability Indices, inclusion as one of the Hang Seng Index Constituents, participation in GRESB.
