(Hong Kong, 17 February 2022) China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd. (the “Company”, “COLI”; Stock Code: 0688.HK) was proudly awarded the “15 Years Plus Caring Company” Logo by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). The long service honor rewards our longstanding dedication in the area of “Caring for the Community”, “Caring for the Environment” and “Caring for the Employees”, as well as highly recognizes our continuous commitment in fulfiling corporate social responsibilities.
Launched by the HKCSS in 2002, the Caring Company Scheme fosters strategic partnerships between Hong Kong’s business and social services sectors to promote good corporate citizenship and encourage creating a more inclusive society.
The Compnay upholds serving society as its mission and fullfills its social responsibility through caring for the community, the staff and the environment. The Compnay continued its efforts to support the needy during coronavirus pandemic and actively procuring and distributing anti-epidemic items like face masks, face shields and test kits, to the underprivileged through collaborating with various local NGOs, such as Hong Kong Playground Association, Hans Andersen Club, Lutheran Church Hong Kong Synod and Ronald McDonald House Charities Hong Kong. In 2022, to improve the physical and mental development of underprivileged groups, COLI successfully oragnized activities including “China Overseas Cup” Charity Dragon Boat Race and Presentation skills training workshop, as well as actively participated in the “Strive and Rise Programme” organized by the HKSAR to empower the vulnerable groups through improve their physical and mental development and broaden their horizons.
While COLI has firmly adhered to its “Four Excellences” philosophy namely “Good Products, Good Services, Good Effectiveness and Good Citizen”, the Company will continue to shoulder corporate social responsibilities to fulfil its commitment to building healthy and sustainable communities for the new era.
