Eastwards development of Suzhou city boosts the cross-region growth of China Overseas property business in Suzhou

On 22 April 2006, outline of the City Master Plan of Suzhou municipality has successfully passed the expert consultancy stage, and will be submitted to the Ministry of Construction of central government for approval. In the outline, the concept that “city development of Suzhou should move to the east side” is further assured.
With this outline, the east side of Suzhou will form the prioritized development district in upcoming years. The Suzhou east, primarily cored by Industrial Park, will be constructed to connect the Kun Mountain and Suzhou New City of Shanghai. It will become the commercial, central office of Yangtze River district, connected and second to Shanghai.
This outline plan is favorable to the property market in Suzhou. Areas surrounding the Jinji Lake in Industrial Park will undoubtedly become the new focus in the city development. At present, China Overseas Property has 4 property projects in this core Lake district.
