On 27 May, a series of activities were organized to celebrate the Tuen Ng Festival, including the dragon boat racing and carnival night, featuring various competitions, games and performances etc. Residents of The Sea View in Shenzhen joyfully attended this meaningful event, which brought them together sharing the customs of this Chinese tradition for over 2000 years.

The Sea View sets 2006 a year to project itself as a “Cultural Community”. The Tuen Ng celebrations was the first large-scale event organized that manifested Chinese tradition elements. The strong festive elements and high popularity received have greatly enhanced the community spirit.
