Leveraging on outstanding performances achieved in areas of planning, construction, environmental protection, technology and quality, four of China Overseas Property’s projects have recently won the “2009 Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Award – Outstanding Residential District Gold Award” . The winning projects include Gold Coast (west district) in Foshan, Royal Lakefront in Suzhou, One South Lake in Changchun, and Classic Palais in Xian. A total of 20 projects nationwide were granted the awards this year.
Besides, China Overseas Property’s International Community (新區藍岸) in Chengdu and International Community (District A, B) in Changchun have won the “2009 Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Award – Outstanding Residential District: Outstanding Technology Award”.
Jointly organized by the China Civil Engineering Society and the Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Science & Technology Fund, and with the guidance and support of the Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Communications of the PRC, the nationwide prestigious Zhan Tian You Civil Engineering Prize recognizes and rewards technology innovation and application in civil engineering. This annual award fully reflects “Innovation” (winning projects carry significantly higher creativity and technology standard in design and construction), “Representation” (winning projects represent highest standard achieved, compared with similar projects nationwide) and “Authoritativeness” (collaborative efforts between association and government departments in award assessment). It helps to elevate eventually the standard of building in mainland China.
