(26 September 2013) China Overseas Land and Investment Ltd (“COLI” or the “Company”, stock code: 00688.HK) is delighted to announce that, as per the notification from Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited, COLI is again recognized as a constituent member of “Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index”, “Hang Seng (Mainland and HK) Corporate Sustainability Index” for four consecutive years, and a constituent member of “Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index” for three consecutive years, with effect from 9 September 2013.
The Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series include Hong Kong listed companies with excellent performance with regard to corporate sustainability and serve as an international market benchmark for capital market. In the recent years, the market has placed equal importance on both financial performance as well as corporate sustainability. The recognition again reflects the high standard of performance of COLI in all aspects of environmental, social and corporate governance and recognizes COLI as a company with high investment value.
