HK) is pleased to announce that COLI has been awarded the ESG Leading Enterprise Award 2023 (Category I: Market Capitalisation over HK$20 billion) by the Asia Pacific region’s most influential business magazine, Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition. The accolade recognised COLI’s outstanding Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance.
As global interest in ESG continues to rise, this award aims at recognising Hong Kong-listed and asset management companies with outstanding ESG performance. It also encourages enterprises to uphold ESG best practices amid heightened climate risks and economic volatility and to strengthen Hong Kong’s status as an international financial centre with sustainable business ecosystems. This year’s evaluation process was rigorous. Following a stringent judging procedure advised by Deloitte that ensures credibility and objectivity, a panel of professional judges, comprised of distinguished professors, accountants and analysts, assessed the submissions based on participating enterprises’ ESG governance mechanisms, goals and performance, as well as environmental and social initiatives.
Being the only real estate company from Mainland China to win this honour from the Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition underscores COLI’s excellent work and achievements in ESG management.
